Wheatgrass

Wheatgrass
A good source of mineral, vitamins & enzymes. Wheatgrass is most often consumed as a juice, or "shots" after it has been slowly pressed or squeezed, using a mechanical hand-cranked or a low rpm electric "masticating" device, such as the Omega 8006. Wheatgrass became popular in the 1940's, mostly by the efforts of Ann Wigmore, a holistic health practitioner who started promoting its health benefits & that of other raw foods.
